Land Rover has updated the Range Rover Sport by adding adaptive cruise control with High-speed Emergency Braking, Stop and Go, and Steering Assist and a new 249PS 3.0-litre SDV6 diesel engine for the European market. This new diesel engine provides and additional 9PS and 100Nm of torque which allows for improved acceleration that gets the model from 0-60 in only 7.6 seconds!

“The latest enhancements to the Range Rover Sport build on its credentials as the luxury performance SUV. With a more efficient powertrain line-up, improved safety technology and state-of-the-art lighting features, this is a vehicle that demands to be driven.” – Nick Collins, Vehicle Line Director, Jaguar Land Rover

Through adding Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, the Range Rover Sport can now maintain a set distance from the car in front, following it to a stop and pulling away again, if stationary for less than 3 seconds. Steering Assist helps keep the vehicle centered in its lane by providing moderate steering interventions. The technology uses lane markings or the path of the vehicle ahead and is deactivated by braking or switching lanes.
